A bit of Dark Souls, a bit of Grim Hinterlands.

For February me and a friend got together (back when you could still do that) and painted up a bunch of Dark Souls miniatures:

For March, I wanted to expand on my gothic / dark fantasy models, some of which can be seen here. For the necromancer warband I needed two gravediggers, which I’ve built from Fireforge Games’ peasant kit and a couple other parts (the rucksacks are from GW’s ogres, the small satchel from Mantic Games – either the ghouls or the zombies, can’t quite remember).

For the rest, I’ve added another dog, a captain for the human monster hunters and two hellhounds for the cultists.

The gravediggers have joined the revenants, while still waiting the actual necromancer to show up:

The captain along with two guards and two doggos:

While I loved the old metal chaos hound models, I’ve never been that big a fan of the plastic ones. It’s probably telling that I’ve had the kit laying around since it came out (11 years or something?) and haven’t really used it. I am happy with the result though, and giving them a really dark shade of red worked out well. Also did some hellscaping on their bases.
